Traditional Bookbinding combined with High-Tech
High quality facsimiles, handcrafted by German traditional book binders and developed according to the highest state of the art in digital photography processing
All facsimiles are accompanied by a commentary edited by acknowledged arts historians, revealing the origin, context and interpretations of the books, their illuminations and content.
Its reproduction includes the authentic binding and casing, down to its most specific detail. The marks which time leaves on the original are reproduced as well. It’s the closest you can get to the original.
If the illuminated pictures are covered in real gold spreading, so equally will the reproduction. All materials used, starting from the paper up to the book cover, are reproduced as to match fully the essence the original masterpiece.
All of our editions are limited. You receive your masterpiece facsimile with a unique numbering.
We aspire to facilitate the scientific work through our editions. And in case that something happened to the original, we preserve a piece of cultural heritage through our publications.
